They listen, understand and then really give you the value of showing the 2 or 3 options that suit your requirements and budget. The system is in and we absolutely love it. I have been dealing with Eastwood HiFi since Nov 2008 back in the day that they were actually in Eastwood :).I rarely bother to write reviews but my latest round of interactions with them has moved me to write a review. I only write reviews when I am super satisfied or when something is so bad I feel I should review and give honest feedback.Since 2008 I have bought numerous speakers, home theatre systems, subwoofer. I do my homework as best I can re price etc then I call Eastwood. All my purchases since my initial contact with Steve have been thru them.Their support is best in class IMO. They have never failed to help me work thru issues or questions I had.The recent interaction I had with them was about a product I bought from them years ago and I was looking to use a feature I had not used previously. They helped me work thru the question to full resolution in a few days as we worked together to work out what was possible and what was not. We both learnt things along the way. There are not many companies that would have been able to offer the same level of service IMO. If they don’t know they will tell you don’t know etc.In summary, if I could give more stars I would.

"Small things lead to greatness and greatness is not a small thing" aptly describes my experience with Eastwood Hifi. Each time I (a novice) has needed help with my audio needs, Michael and others have gone over and beyond to calmly and unbegrudgingly provide the best outcome. Most recently, when Sony customer care had bounced me to Yamaha and Yamaha told me nothing could be done with my Bluetooth sound, Nick and Michael could have easily shrugged their shoulders. But, not them, who offered a simple and effective solution. Kudos 👌👍👏

Fantastic service provided by Nick from eastwood hifi.From the first initial phone call enquiring about a certain Yamaha amplifiers, Nick's familiarity with the models and advice on what was best based on what I wanted was spot on.Nick showing initiative in consultation with other staff gave me a courtesy phone call back the same day to advise on potential issues that may need to considered with the choice of models / speakers I was looking to use.He also took it on himself (in advance) to enquire on available stock, best price and approximate lead times saving me any potential follow up phone calls I would have had to make.Well done Nick and again Thank you!

This review is a bit wordy but it's worth the read.I dealt mainly with Nick and Craig. Both gave friendly but very professional advice and service. There was no hard sell and, as we went through the sales process, I asked about several options. They gave me good answers with explanations as to why I didn't need this or why I might get some worthwhile benefit from that.From the outset, Nick advised me that, when my system arrived at my house (free freight, btw), they would be happy to spend some time on the phone with me to help me go through the settings even if I thought I had them right so that I could be sure that I hadn't missed anything.Well, Craig went through that process with me and we had an issue with my TV settings. He went and did some research on the spot and called me back 15mins later with an answer. There was a setting deep within the menu system of my TV that he hadn't come across before. We made the adjustment and magic happened. Suddenly, beautiful, crisp, full sound was there and we finished going through the rest of the settings.I had made a couple of bad settings and Craig explained why they were not the best choices. Once we were done, he again offered that if I needed any further help, they were just a phone call away.Whilst this review is specifically about Eastwood, for those that are interested, I bought the Yamaha RX-V6A Receiver/amp along with matching Yamaha NS-555 5.1 surround speakers. They sound fantastic!Post Script: It's now been nearly a year and I have been given a new TV. I had a little trouble with connections and I remembered Eastwood's promise to always help if needed. A quick call to them and the problem was easily fixed. Once again, the customer service at Eastwood was cheerful, professional and willing. They really meant it when they told me that the service doesn't stop once they have your money!

Fantastic experience dealing with these guys. Was looking for my first home theatre sound system to do away with soundbars and tv sound (yuck) and they were extremely helpfull in coming up with a great system for my needs. A pleasure to deal with and with great prices and helpfull advice to take the struggle out of working out what to get.Couldnt be happier as this Monitor Audio system just blows me away everytime i turn it on. Everyone I dealt with was super helpful and knowledgeable. No hard sell, and they’re happy to give out advice and recommendations based on both quality and value so you get great gear for your money. And all of this while we were both in lockdown at opposite sides of the country. I’ll definitely be coming back when it’s time to expand/upgrade.

It was time to update my lounge room with some new equipment so I first checked with Eastwood Hi Fi who I had got Yamaha stuff from in the past. The guys were very helpful with no pressure sales routine and guided me thru what I was trying to achieve, I wanted a Dobly Atmos setup without spending too much. Craig demo'd the Paradigm in-wall and ceiling speakers in the room and I was sold. I thought I need bigger (read more expensive) and more speakers then I really needed in my small room so they saved me money. I put that money toward a new Yamaha A4A receiver instead of waiting till after Xmas to buy it. I called the shop to ask a couple of questions on the new amp that I was doing everything correctly and they were only too happy to help, my setup now sounds unreal and have been showing everyone who comes to the house. Good customer service is almost non existent these days, so I will be sending all my friends there if they want to do it right.

Our internet service was pretty bad so there was obvious Tecnical issues with the music cast app,However Mike never gave up on us, and with the help of Morgan their installation technician they continued to try other methods to make it perfect. The bottom line is, they got it all working perfectly and I couldn’t be happier with final results.

I've never been compelled to post a review before but Eastwood HiFi more than deserve it.As a tech-head, Hi-Fi has never been my forte (I know what I like, not necessarily how to achieve it), but Nick's attention to detail and willingness to ensure all my questions were answered as thoroughly as possible gave me the assurance I needed when choosing my replacement AVR. What I experienced was nothing short of old-school quality customer service where you really feel like you matter and the team genuinely values your business, my new gear was even delivered to my home in person, same day as purchase as I happen to live close to Nick’s commute route. My only regret is not coming across them 10 years ago when I first started getting into home theatre, the Tips & Tweaks section on their website alone would have saved me from learning some lessons the hard way and you can take comfort in knowing you will not be ‘up-sold’ on anything you won’t get any value from, these guys are truly no-nonsense.Thanks Eastwood HiFi, you have gained a new customer for life, I will not go anywhere else again!

I've been a customer since they were actually in Eastwood and just bought my third system from Eastwood Hi FI. A beefy Rotel amp and a pair of Paradigm floorstanders. It was a pleasure dealing with them again. These guys are trustworthy in every sense of the word. You never feel like you're being bamboozled, just good customer service all 'round. It's nice to deal with people in retail who genuinely enjoy giving advice and guidance for something so variable as personal tastes in music. So, thanks - the system is amazing! The Who, The Cure, Beatles, Ryan Adams, Zep, Hendrix and Dylan never sounded so good to my ears. And I'll be back - I think I want to buy a CD player too, I know - old school huh?

Hi have been a customer of Eastwood Hi Fi since 1984 when they were still in Eastwood. In that time I have purchased countless amplifiers, cassette decks, my first CD player, turntables (I still have 2 Technics 1200's from 1989) and speakers. They are no nonsense, sell only equipment they have in their own homes and above all else, have the best prices. I recommend them without reservation.

I found this place on the internet when looking for a new Yamaha amplifier.Their pricing was excellent. When I called up to enquire the guy I spoke to was more than helpful, explaining the difference between the various models.I bought one and it was delivered in the Sydney metro the same day. That's service.Saving up some dollars and I am going to splash out and buy a second one for my man cave.The second one was purchased a few weeks later and once again the service, pricing and delivery was exceptional.

Had a tremendous experience dealing with Eastwood Hifi, needless to say I will not shop anywhere else for home theatre needs again! Nick returned my first call promptly when missed, and was genuinely interested in my questions. Went in store to demo some speakers, and Nick was very accommodating and professional, happy to listen to all my questions, asked about my room set at at home and offered some great advice. Never was I once pressured into any decisions, offered unwanted bias opinions nor rushed for time. It is rare to find such great and honest salesmanship these days! They worked out very competitive pricing, and I ended up with a great set of Monitor Audio speakers (went in expecting to buy KEFs). They arrived within 3 business days and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend, thanks Nick!

Old fashioned Aussie Customer Service at its best.I first purchased a mid range AV Surround Sound System through Nick at Eastwood HiFi about 16 years ago. The service back then was exceptional. They maximised the performance I got from my budget, which at that time was about $8k. At the time Nick drove up to my house from Eastwood to the Central Coast and spent about 3 hours setting it all up for me. He charged me $100 which included the 3 hours of set up and testing and the travelling time. For 16 years I was extremely happy with my purchase.In the intervening 16 years I have had reason to buy a couple of replacement parts like speaker front grilles and a tweeter cone damaged by incompetent removalists. They quickly sourced the necessary parts and shipped them off to me.About 2 years ago I phoned Nick up and said to him whilst I was extremely happy with the performance of my AV receiver, I was looking to upgrade my AV receiver to something with HDMI and it had to be at least equal audio quality of my current AV receiver. I said to him that I was in no hurry and to let me know when a good deal on something suitable was available. About a year later Nick called me and said he had some Yamaha RX-V3085 Receivers available that were $1,995-00 when normal retail was $2,999. I told Nick that I would come and audition it. I did that , was very happy with the sound and put it on lay by, as I was waiting on a property sale to free up some cash. I told Nick I would sort the lay by out within the next couple of months, as soon as the property sale completed. Well the property sale was a complete Clusterfu-- and 8 months later it still hadn't completed and my new AV receiver was still on lay by. There was no pressure whatsoever from the guys at Eastwood HiFI. Nick said to me, "I know you want the unit and will sort it out when the property sale goes through. Just call me when you're all sorted out." Well I eventually got the property sold and paid the remaining balance on the unit. They shipped the unit down and gave me unsurpassed phone support in getting it all set up and properly configured. I couldn't be happier with my new AV receiver and ceiling mounted speakers.They guys at Eastwood HiFI will always try to be as price competitive as they can, but most importantly the after sales service is unsurpassed, by people that have an extensive knowledge of the products they sell.

They have a dedicated testing room which allowed me to test a few products and make sure I was purchasing the kind of system I had in mind. Travelled down from Newcastle. Was greeted by Craig, who was super helpful, knowledgeable and best of all made working to my entry level budget a breeze! Was presented with various options, given plenty of time to make a decision either way and ultimately I'm very pleased to have spent money there. Got an excellent deal, great customer service...and for many other reasons I'll be returning in future for all my HiFi needs. Cheers to Craig and the team!A call couple of days later to confirm shipping and tracking ID, and advised to stay in touch if any issues. The customer service just keeps getting better.It gets better! I get a call with my tracking number a couple days after purchase and before I can even log in to check...they arrive! Lightning fast. These guys are the real deal.

Great pricing, friendly advice and you're not treated like an idiot just because you're not an audiophile or looking to spend thousands of dollars. Mike (and before that, Steve) have always been responsive and hooked me up with a great deal on a Yamaha RX-V685 in 2019. Next time I have hi-fi needs, I'll go back to Eastwood Hi-Fi.

Over the years I’ve purchased plenty of quality equipment from Eastwood. A complete def tech 7.2.2 setup with RXA3060 receiver for myself. 2x 5.1 Pardadigm systems for family members. Always excellent service and happy to assist with any setup queries over the phone. Would highly recommend to anyone in the market for fair priced quality hifi give the guys a call.

Fantastic service from these guys. Bought a Onkyo A9050 amp and Yamaha CD N301 on their recommendation. But the best part? The Colour speakers by Triangle they are amazing! And all at a fantastic price and safely transported to WA for only $125. Thanks to Nick for his patience with my dumb questions and helping me getting it all sorted and Steve for his initial honest advice. Cheers.
