Sony Release New Native 4K Laser Projector
Wow! That was our first reaction when we saw the quality of the image from the new generation of Sony native 4K projectors, which are now driven by a laser light source. The first model in the range is the VPL-XW5000ES, which replaces the popular VPL-VW290ES. We now get improvements in light output to 2000 lumens, better black levels, reduced operating noise and greater lifespan (no bulbs to replace). The second model is the VPL-XW7000ES which adds more brightness (3200 lumens), better optics, increased zoom and lens shift flexibilities and motorised lens memory. The VPL-XW7000ES retails for $25,499.
